Who I Am

Hi, I’m Scott Longley, the owner of High Peak Dog Walks.

After moving to the beautiful Peak District a couple of years ago, I decided to turn my lifelong love of dogs into something more. This professional, caring dog walking service puts your pet’s well-being first.

I’ve owned and cared for dogs for most of my life, and they’ve always been a constant source of joy and companionship. Due to living with Crohn’s disease, I’ve had to step away from office-based work and busy environments. This life change led me to follow a path that suits both my health and my passion – spending time outdoors, offering a valuable service, and giving dogs the enrichment they deserve.

High Peak Dog Walks is built on empathy, trust, and professionalism. I understand the importance of knowing your dog is in safe, reliable hands – someone who genuinely cares, and is trained to handle dogs with confidence and compassion.

Whether you need regular walks, help while you’re away, or occasional support, I’m here to offer peace of mind and quality care for your dog, right here in the heart of the Peaks.

  • Fully insured and Canine First Aid certified

  • DT Box crash-tested crates for safe, secure travel

  • DBS checked and verified

  • Working towards - Level 3 in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting for Professionals (Ofqual-regulated)
